GREECE - A rising force in the global baking arena, built on deep roots and timeless tradition.
The Hellenic National Bakery Team was founded in 2012, emerging from the Panhellenic Bakery Championship, an innovative institution born within the Artozyma exhibition, which continues to host it to this day. This championship marked a groundbreaking step for Greece: transforming its historic bread culture and passion into technical development, innovation and national pride. Since then, bakers from across the country have joined the national team, participating in events and bread festivals from Thessaloniki to Crete.
In 2024, Greece participated for the first time in its history in the prestigious Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie in Paris, securing 7th place, as its debut on the world stage. The following year, in 2025, the team competed in the internationally acclaimed Bread in the City competition during SIGEP Rimini, achieving 5th place, proving that Greece is not only present while advancing and climbing the ranks.
The team consists of new and distinguished former members, all exceptionally talented professionals that are going to represent Greece in this upcoming mediterranean meeting.
